The End of the Blog
The blog will come to a grinding halt on August 17th, 2018 as the next phase in my life begins: college. However, before I go, I will be making the most of the time that I have left on this platform. This is not the end of my writing career or my pursuit of journalism, it is only the beginning. This is just the end of an era, a project that I have been working on for a year and a half now. No matter where I go in life and what I do, I will always take the most pride in this blog and the purpose it gave me. This has been my passion for a long time, but it is time to move on.
Before I head out, I am going to be doing a lot of things on here. I will continue my weekly articles but I will also be publishing an interview series with progressives in the Charleston area that have had an impact on me and our community. Everybody that I will interview has had an effect on me and represent the best parts of our country. If you follow me on social media, I will be reposting old articles and making a lot more content.
Thank you to everybody who has supported me throughout this blog's existence. Whether you were with me from the beginning or you joined me somewhere along the way I am grateful for your support because it kept me going when I felt like giving up. If you ever want to contact me to talk politics or leave a message I can be found anywhere on social media or at gamblejacob305@gmail.com.
The only question that remains is the question that has driven this blog since it began, "Where do we go from here?"
