Welcome to my blog. My name is Jacob Gamble and I am an Opinion Columnist for the Summerville Journal Scene in Summerville, South Carolina. I am currently a junior at Ashley Ridge High School and an avid follower of music and politics. So what is the goal of this blog? I want to make my audience think. I want to generate constructive conversations with the columns I publish and give my opinion on a broad range of topics in the social and political spheres of our lives. But most of all I want to give a new perspective on many issues facing our country and our world, from my view as a young person during a time of major political shifts and uncertainty towards the future.
